Did you think it was Copper Pedy too or was that just me???? In my Australian accent it always sounded like Coober Pedy but I heard in my head Cooper. You live and learn!

My first go and driving on this trip. To tell the truth I didn’t think the Ssangbong could do the 110kph speed limit. On the flat 100% up a hill-A for effort. Behind a truck 90kph I’m such a 🐔 at passing.
Rob thinks I’ll get more confident driving the Ute (manual 21 year old deisel compared to my city driving tesla)with practice. I explained that I just find a new fear each time. People who don’t live with anxiety well…..its just different.

Another first. Filling up the Ssangbong with diesel at Spuds. I was worried when Rob flies home from Fitzroy Crossing I would have to go 3 month on 1 tank of fuel.
I learnt:
1. Diesel fills up the same as petrol
2. I actually remembered from my ICE days how a ⛽ works

I was so excited to see the ‘Outback SA’ sign. I also loved the cows crossing sign. Every time you pass a new cattle station a new sign pops up. I guess so you know whose cows they are?

Robs 100 questions as I was driving. He loves mountains. These were in the middle of large flats. ‘Did this mountain pop up out of the ground or did the ground fall away from around it”…’what are those pipes carrying…”

Rob putting me to sleep with all of his questions
