Mataranka NT to Kununurra WA

Big day today, so tired and just made it here as the sun was setting (forgot WA is a different time zone)

Can recommend Bitter Springs caravan park, so beautiful and cabins if you don’t have a caravan (we dont). Right on the river. We left a bit leisurely today and had a lovely stop and walk at Nitmiluk (Katherine) George.

Got stopped by bio security at the WA border. They went through the car and we only had to surrender honey. Wish I’d known at the previous town you can donate food and firewood that is prohibited in WA. Tip for anyone crossing in to WA

Oh and we couldn’t stop but saw a massive white python on the side of the road 🙄

Beautiful Nitmiluk. I took a photo of the stairs to the lookout as I’ve even here 3 times now and forgot the stairs!

Had to pull over and take a pic of water buffalo and his mate goat.

And we finally made it to Western Australia!!

Tomorrow -big treck to Fitzroy Crossing. Feeling a bit nervous/excited/tired
