Had a little walk around Kununurra this morning before breakfast because we are still on NT time and got up too early. We are now having dinner at 5.30 😀

Rob saw a big crocodile 🐊 in a river whilst I was driving-missed the photo 😞

Had butterflies 🦋 in my tummy as we approached Fitzroy Crossing. Will meet the team at Baya Gawyi on Tuesday. It’s a long weekend for WA day Monday.

Kununurra

Picnic in the back on the Ssangbong for lunch roadside. We usually try and support local roadside petrol stops but found a bakery in Kununurra. Yen Nees ginger and 🍋 for my tea. Bio security approved it.

Beautiful driving scenery

It’s really hard to get accommodation in Fitzroy Crossing. Only 2 options. We are staying at Fitzroy River lodge. They have motel style accommodation, camping and what we are in which seems to be where all the tradies are staying (all that was left) but costs about the same as the Hilton in Melbourne 🙂 We had a delicious dinner of local meat (sorry vegetarians) at their restaurant which is the only one in town with lovely staff who are again from overseas.
