Getting in to the swing of things..

Wednesday night Karaoke-don’t worry I didn’t sing.

One of our Educators Michelle is a regular. She is s terrific singer.

The bar is outdoors-only 1 of 2 licenced venues in FX (the rest of the venue washed away in the floods). It’s in sort of a cage and the bar cage comes down if any trouble starts. No trouble from me 🙂 Last drinks were called at 8.15pm. Home my 8.30pm my perfect night out.

I met some friendly locals who were trying to explain to me skin relations. Mr B who is 58, was there with his grandmother Sandra who was 60. She was telling me how her heart hurts with younger people not following their law and customs for example who they should marry.

By the way they were great dancers!!

Trying to choose a local canvas from Mankaja gallery workshop. Which one should I buy? The lovely guy offered to lay them on the table for me but I thought I could get an okay shot whilst hanging-wrong

The kids showed me 2 beautiful green tree frogs at work. One of my colleagues found one under her toilet seat….again

I walked past the local footy today-gee they were good.

I also walked past the local catholic church. I took a picture as I thought it looked so outback Australia

ohhh I love the last 2 paintings – do they have names? Something that resonates with your adventure?
